We help organisations understand the human side of performance. Drawing on deep expertise in Human Factors, Safety Science, and Organisational Psychology, we work with leaders and teams to improve safety, strengthen culture, enhance decision-making, and build resilient, high-performing workplaces.
Cydel is a specialist consultancy in Human Factors, Safety, and Organisational Psychology. We help organisations understand how people think, act and perform in real operational contexts, and how these human elements shape safety, culture and overall effectiveness.
Co-founded by two aviation psychologists, we each bring more than two decades of experience in the aviation sector. Our backgrounds in one of the world’s most safety-critical industries underpin our rigorous, evidence-based approach to human performance, safety culture and organisational behaviour.
Today, we support organisations across aviation, healthcare, transport, government, corporate and specialist industries. Our focus is simple: helping people and organisations perform safely and effectively.
Every organisation is different. We tailor our work to your operational environment, people, risks and goals.
We translate psychological and human-factors research into solutions that work in the real world, not just on paper.
Our methods draw on validated psychological science, aviation human-factors research and decades of applied experience
People learn best with meaningful experiences. Our sessions are interactive, immersive and grounded in real scenarios.
Every organisation is unique. We seek to understand how
your talent, team, technology and organisational factors
interact, in order to develop bespoke solutions tailored to
address your organisation’s needs.
We seek simplicity in our solutions - integrating them
into well-designed processes and evidence-based
solutions that are easy to implement. We help your organisation develop sustainable solutions that endure
beyond our consultancy engagement.
Learning is most effective when it is both interactive and
fun. Whether training is conducted online or face-to-face,
we incorporate games, interactive exercises, discussions
and case studies, because we all learn best when we are
happy and engaged.
Our training is developed based on psychology,
behavioural science, sports science, human factors and
latest research findings spanning across industries. We
teach participants to apply skills that are practical and scientifically
backed.
We believe organisations thrive when people feel safe, respected and supported to perform at their best. Our purpose is to strengthen safety, build positive workplace cultures and help people work together more effectively. We aim to create change that lasts, developing capability within your teams and embedding improvements long after our involvement ends.
